Callen Lowell

Associate Attorney

Callen Lowell joined the firm in 2025. Prior to joining the firm, they clerked for the Honorable Judge Jenny Rivera on the New York Court of Appeals. Callen also previously worked as Equal Justice Works Fellow at Brooklyn Defender Services, where they represented low-income immigrants on workers’ rights and related immigration issues through direct representation, systemic litigation, and policy reform.

Callen earned their JD from Columbia Law School, where they were a James Kent Scholar and won the Allen Morrow Sexuality and Gender Law Prize. In law school, Callen served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and interned at Legal Aid, Make the Road New York, TakeRoot Justice, and the Bronx Defenders.

Prior to law school, Callen worked as the inaugural Program Coordinator for the Legal Network for Gender Equity at the National Women’s Law Center. Callen received their B.A. in Political Science and American Studies from Columbia University.
