Amiri Nash is committed to creating an equitable world through law, advocacy, and dialogue. The 2021 DC Youth Poet Laureate, Nash utilizes rhetoric and language to create spaces for conversation and reflection about our society. He is the co-founder and former editor-in-chief of The Black Star Journal, a Black student newspaper at Brown University where he holds a BA in English. He is an Arthur Liman Public Interest Fellow and interned at The Bronx Defenders in the Civil Action Practice. Nash has been featured in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, Teen Vogue, and NPR for his work. He has written for national publications about the importance of action, justice, and community. He is proud to work at a firm that fights for equity and justice.
